The VIO POV.T is a special kit suited for the needs of the military, police forces, security firms and so on.  It uses the POV 1 camera and comes with a fantastic mounting kit so that it can be easily attached to its users.  Along with this is comes with a time and date stamp function as standard.

The POV.T is built for tough work and will survive in tough locations.  It is shock proof, as well as being water and dust proof.  Some action cameras are not shock proof, which means that when you take a tumble videos may become corrupted as well as the camera becoming damaged and unusable.  The POV.T comes with appropriate computer software so that watching back and editing footage is easy.

With the computer software it would be easy to make nearly DVD quality videos for training purposes, for reference to any incidents or to use as evidence.

The POV.T is waterproof, so it does not matter if you get caught in heavy rain or have to swim across rivers.  The camera head can go down to 10 meters, however the recorder is only waterproof to 1 meter.  If you want to improve the dept the recorder can go down to (which I would recommend), you can buy a waterproof pouch.  The waterproof pouch allows you to take the recorder down to 3 meters.

The POV.T comes with a remote control, which allows you to wirelessly control your camera.  The remote control works in a range of 3 meters, but does not require for the remote to be directly pointing at the camera.

An 8GB SD card is the largest that the camera will support and will give around 6 hours of video recording on the highest resolution.  The camera does come with the ability to choose 4 frame rates (30fps, 25fps, 24fps, 15fps) and 4 resolutions (720×480, 720×400, 640×480, 360×240).  This means you can reduce the quality to improve recording time.  To view footage you just need to plug the camera into your computer, or remove the SD card and insert it into your computer (if you have an SD card slot).
