About Me

Okay, so you’ve clicked on the about me page, which probably means you want to know something about me! My name’s Thomas and I set this site up after getting a few questions on my camera and helping out a few people on forums when they asked about the cameras in the ATC range. I live in Woking in Surrey and go to Uni in Norwich, so I spend my time at a mixture of both. I’ve been making websites for years now and do it on a freelance and employed basis in-between UNI.

My Camera

I own an ATC2000, a few 2 GB memory cards and some rechargeable batteries. I use my helmet camera, primarily, for when I’m cycle commuting. The route I go to work is on very busy roads, so it’s quite common to get a bit of agro or some very close overtakes. Most of the footage I capture, is pretty boring, but the interesting stuff goes on YouTube.

I got my helmet camera in late summer, 2008, so I’ve had a reasonable amount of time to test it out and get used to it. I’m really pleased with it…but if I had some money to burn I would probably buy an upgraded model or a smaller, wired camera (they’re really blooming expensive though). That might be something for when I commute more frequently.
